Postdoctoral Position In Scaling Theory

The Santa Fe Institute – a private, not-for-profit theoretical research and education facility – is seeking applicants for a postdoctoral fellow in a multidisciplinary research program on scaling theory. The research seeks to derive general scaling relationships applicable to a wide variety of systems spanning bacteria to human institutions. The research will draw on a wide range of techniques spanning mathematical biology, physical theory, and the compilation of data from existing literature.  

Complex Systems Summer School Journalism Fellowship

The nonprofit Santa Fe Institute (SFI) is offering a new journalism fellowship for accomplished reporters. National and international journalists with a demonstrated interest in and record of reporting about matters related to complex systems are considered and selected for a paid, residential fellowship in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Education Program Assistant

In this role, you will support our fantastic community of students and early-career researchers during their educational experiences with SFI, and you will help us engage with our alumni throughout their careers. Events Coordinator

The Santa Fe Institute is currently seeking a full-time Events Coordinator who will work at the direction of the Events and Visitor Manager to coordinate all aspects of SFI-hosted events from inception to completion.  

Systems Manager – Cowan Campus

The Santa Fe Institute is currently seeking a full-time Systems and Network Manager at SFI’s Cowan Campus. This position will assist the Director of Technology with systems and network administration, server maintenance, network operations, research support, and program support, as needed. They will also assist with desktop and user support as required.
