Program Overview

Short Courses provide participants with a condensed overview of a particular complex system, highlighting outstanding questions and active research directions as well as the utility of a complexity science perspective in addressing the system of interest.

Dates & Times

No short courses are planned at this time.

Short courses generally occur over two or three days, and occupy anywhere from two to six hours per day.

Tuition & Fees

Tuition determined on a course by course basis. Costs associated with travel, meals and accommodations for in-person Short Courses are the responsibility of the participant.

Program Topics

Short Course faculty include the SFI research community as well as expert guests.

Graduate students, postdocs, research professionals and leaders and practitioners from the private, government, and non-profit sectors.
